Coldeven (III) 592 - Grasen &  Hallorn Scavenging in destroyed Grasen , the heroes meet 3 northern bandits: Padair, Doirin and Horas . Padair Doirin Horas After some negotiations, the trio guide them to Hallorn in the Bandit Kingdom of the Tangles .  There they are rejoined by Father Selred who was trying to find them. Gates of Hallorn In Hallorn they encounter the sage Algorthas , the Earl's Frostgrave Cultists and Ruga , a ragged man who gives Alsten the opportunity to meet the elusive  Lycan Brotherhood  in the  nearby village of Erien . The heroes decide to first help Algorthas by investigating the secrets of Krelont Keep , Hallorn's citadel. Readying (II) 592 -  Zharr-Naggrund & Erelhei Cinlu Cruben Blackwolf has sold his new captives to the Chaos Dwarves at Zharr-Naggrund , city of Fire and Desolation, shaped with dark towers, massive gateways and a terrible obsidian ziggurat-tower temple dedicated to their evil bull God Hashut , the Father of Darkness.  At the city Colosseum,  they are joined by the Tiefling Yarvier , also prisoner. Together they face a host of challengers, which they defeat. Arena Battle Anti-magic stones, creations of the Chaos Dwarves, negate a spell cloaking Elicia and reveal her to be  a Drow in disguise called Sharyl Mel'ettana . This catches the attention of current guests of the Chaos Dwarves, the supposed sons of the Demonqueen of Spiders Lolth , Lord Celerion Tyamir , Knight of Cintagel, son of Duke Taliesen Gildaren of Celene , and the Barbarian Lord Torvald of the Wolf Clan , son of Laskrd the Ravager. Readying (II) 592 - Barony of Noraneir Having decided to ally themselves with the Critwall faction, Lord Helio Harmsworth swears allegiance to the young Baron Kilion Noraneir who in return makes him the Lord of Grasen . Helio decides to take advantage of winter-time to perform reconnaissance in his new Lordship, unburdened by the peasantry. Iniarv's Tower Grasen is reached by early Readying (2nd month). The heroes invest Iniarv 's Tower, a small keep north-east of the village named after an age-old mage from the lost kingdom of Uth Myrmoran . Signs at the tower show some terrible beast attacked recent trespassers: an adult Black Dragon who returns but spares the heroes. He needs two of them, Elicia and the wielder of Nerull's Ring ( Alsten 's skull ring found on Lady Haedreline in Samia ) to serve him by seeking the Uthtower in the great swamps and find within the mausoleum of the ancient dragon Ebondeath . Needfest of Winter 591-592 - Admundfort & Samia An audience is given at the court of Admundfort to Lord Harmsworth so he may explain the threat recently encountered at Castle Nelzer . While speaking to none other than the Earl of the Shield Lands, Nasher Alagondar , Helio is struck with visions and must excuse himself. Lord Grimlock Chares meets him in private soon after, aware of the visions. He explains Helio's lust somehow brought back a defunct Lady of the Land: the Lady Haedreline Rumbold , mistress to the now deceased  Hierarch Vazirian , one of the 13 old rulers of the Horned Society . From the visions, Helio also knows his own sister, the nun Slainie Harmsworth , of the Sisters of the Holy Sepulcher  (a nunnery near Critwall ), is somehow involved. Slainie has gone to the village of Samia thinking her brother there. Samia was the village chosen to house the refugees of Orlane for the winter. Fall 591 - Barony of Nelzer Refugees, outcasts and criminals from the Shield Lands , mostly Orlane , are sent to repopulate the devastated North. Lord Harmsworth agrees to resettle a village in the Kilsek lands after meeting the young Baron Gavin Kilsek , Sir Gavriel Carsomyr of Pozan , Bannerbearer of the Shield, and his wife the Lady Bryony Kilsek . Passing by the abandoned Barony of Nelzer , scouting indicates activity at the Castle commanding the road north. Investigation interrupts a meeting between a Mutated Chaos Champion and his small Goblinoid force with a group of Chaos Dwarves . They uncover a deal involving a strange hellish weapon: a canon powered by a furnace fueled by the tormented souls of wailing victims. Using  Bertram 's ingenuity, the canon is destroyed but unleashes, according to Elicia, dangerous dark magics in the process. Fall 591 - Barony of Shieldgate Investigating the village of Orlane , the heroes uncover the Cult of the Reptile God . Its leader the dread Naga Explictica Defilus has taken over a quarter of the villagers, including for a brief moment Gareth . Our heroes are aided by the senile Druid Ramney  (and his pet whiskers?) and two followers of the druidic ways, the warrior Dorian and the half-elf archer Llywillan . Among the casualties is the Priest of Saint Merikka , Father Abramo . The 'nun' sister Misha is badly disfigured. A Witch Hunter Joris-Karl Huysmans and Brother Theodorus , Monk of the Benedictines of St-Cyril , protected by the  deacon soldiers Curwen and Felicien , are sent to Orlane in the aftermath to judge the heretic contamination to the lands. A deal is struct, using ancient canonical laws, to spare the contaminated by forcing the entire village into exile: they will repopulate the devastated northern lands.
